Arab Health is the region’s largest industry tradeshow event, bringing together more than 68,000 health care professionals from 180 countries at the Dubai Trade Center from 29 January – 1 February. The AHA held a day-long symposium to present regional and global cardiovascular science from AHA volunteers. The program had a comprehensive agenda dedicated to addressing health technology and innovation in health care for cardiovascular disease and stroke. Key presentations focused on cardiovascular and stoke burden in the Middle East, the role of hospital quality improvement to improve patient outcomes, ground-breaking research for the treatment of heart failure patients and the promise of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine-learning to improve treatment and outcomes.
