The Association Joins Health Leaders to Advance Cardiovascular Care at WHX Dubai

February 2025

JUST Health and Life Support Training Center with the Association at WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health). (American Heart Association)

Advances in medical care have transformed the past century in ways unimaginable. Building upon a history of success, the Association’s second-century vision, “health and hope for everyone, everywhere,” is committed to advancing access to lifesaving treatments regardless of where a person may live. This vision spans across the globe, and the Association participated at one of the world’s largest health care exhibitions, WHX Dubai (formerly known as Arab Health) to present to hospitals how coordinated, measurable care drives excellence and improves patient outcomes. WHX Dubai brought together more than 60,000 health care professionals from 180+ countries to connect, learn, network and discover the future of health care, and the Association was in the “heart” of it all.

Making the future of health care today’s reality is more than innovative technology and breakthrough research. It’s also sharing knowledge of best practices and removing systemic barriers to education and adoption. The Association met with hospitals and clinics from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region throughout the expo, acquiring feedback on International Quality Improvement and Resuscitation Quality Improvement® (RQI®) programs from the Association’s champions and experts in the health care field. The Association’s RQI® Challenge at its booth was a key highlight, demonstrating high-performance CPR and directive feedback technology on improving survival rates, streamlining training, and enhancing clinical excellence.

These innovative training solutions are consistently reinforced and refined by the kinds of feedback gained at events such as WHX Dubai, showcasing how everyday practitioners contribute to the Association’s mission to transform cardiovascular care on a global scale. Together, we will help create a future where all patients can access the care they need at the quality they deserve.
