Embracing Data, Advancing Life
Quality data is essential for improving patient outcomes and is exemplified across modern medicine, from diagnostic testing to continuous monitoring of treatment effectiveness. Recognizing the universal importance of leveraging quality data, resources can be used to examine trends and set industry-standard goals for hospitals. By adhering to evidence-based guidelines and frameworks of care, teams can enhance both operational efficiency and patient outcomes. To support these efforts, the Association engages with hospitals to implement benchmark practices that measure provider performance, analyze outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
The Association advances cardiovascular and stroke care by working with health care facilities around the world to implement proven practices that elevate care and improve patient outcomes. We are excited to celebrate the announcement of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saudi National Heart Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), a national cardiology association.
Signed in November 2024 during the opening ceremony of the 3rd National Heart Forum, this collaboration aims to improve cardiovascular care in KSA through a national program that promotes cardiovascular disease prevention, data registries and expanding International Quality Improvement certification. Present for the official signing ceremony were Director General of the National Heart Center, Dr. Adel Tash, KSA’s Deputy of Minister of Health, Dr. Mohmmed Alabdulali, and the Association’s Senior Vice President of International Business, Chris D’Esposito.
