At Scientific Sessions 2025, the Global Quality Showcase featured health care teams presenting their experiences in improving cardiovascular care through posters and model sharing examples from health care teams across the globe. Participating initiatives included efforts from Mexico, India, Taiwan, China and the United Arab Emirates, each offering specific insights into patient care and system-level improvements.

A standout moment came when MGM Medical College Hospital in Navi Mumbai, India, earned runner-up honors for its focus on the impact of International Chest Pain Center Certification. Presented by Shilpa Kadam, MD, DM, FACC, Ankita Joshi, MD, the project demonstrated how the Heart Association’s Certification influenced care pathways and outcomes.

Their recognition was one of six awards determined by attendee votes, underscoring global interest in collaborative quality improvement.
