Courses

The AHA publishes the Guidelines for CPR and ECC, which set the standard for lifesaving first aid and CPR protocols and products around the world and make up the basis for our own lifesaving course materials used to teach first aid CPR and advanced cardiovascular care to millions of healthcare providers, caregivers and community members each year.

From the heart

« In a recent course, a student who was renewing their provider Heartsaver first aid course, told me “with what I learned last time, I could have saved my wife who was choking”. His face showed charm and pride in the work done… and mine also. They are magical moments in which is put in evidence how some simple well learned actions change the lives of people. »

Fabian Gelpi

« We train Basic, Advanced and Pediatric courses under the American Heart Association with constant, encouraging recognition from our candidates. We trust the quality, scientific studies and well-structured course content provided by AHA. Our goal is to provide high quality and effective resuscitation training to candidates »

« The Portuguese “Republican National Guard (GNR)” now uses the Guidelines of American Heart Association for military basic life support training of all operatives and advanced life support for its healthcare nurses and doctors. In that way our police can serve and protect the population in expanded ways, providing the most up to date care in safety and security. »

« We feel we can do better, we feel we can be the difference by training thousands of persons in Basic, Advance and Pediatric life support with the quality and rigor from American Heart Association courses. »
